KRYPTOS QUARTET was created in January, 2002, and is composed of young musicians coming from various origins, but devoted to the same passion: the string quartet which needs no other language. This extreme musical form, bearing an unextinguishing corpus, remains as a great challenge, and its main goal is obviously to get a proper sound. The name "Kryptos" means this quest, which is revealing the "secret" hidden in the music.
